The Buttonwood Tree opens its doors for the return of singer-songwriter and Portland native Joe Flood. Flood, who now lives in Guilford, plays all sorts of stringed instruments, including guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and more. His songs are a blend ofmany influences, including blues, folk and early rock, and have been recorded by artists such as The Band, Laura Cantrell and Levon Helm. Accompanying Flood will be guitarist Mark Herschler, bassist AndresVillamil and harmonica player Ron Sunshine. The music starts rolling at 8 p.m.

As an example of what takes place at SOL VILLAGE, duet Floetry happened to be in town stopped by, jumped on stage and performed 6 songs.
